Last week, Marcel Raedts (Founder, CEO) and Bas Visser of Wireless Value signed an agreement to join the regional innovation cluster. Following in the footsteps of Fresenius Kabi and our neighbour, Menicon. The innovation cluster focuses on the theme “Smart Sustainable Manufacturing”.

In English, Marcel: “being involved in this innovation cluster provides access to knowledge, a strong network and potential new collaborations. With the building of the innovation Centre in Emmen in progress, a new physical place will emerge where companies, researchers and students can meet and work on Proxcys new products and can test for new applications”
Proxcys also sees opportunities to link new areas of development to the Innovation Center, including a potential pilot project focused on using our HP-RFC columns in the Downstream Process of precision fermentation, in which students from various disciplines will collaborate with companies on practical innovation.
The fact that the collaboration goes beyond mere agreements on paper became clear during the signing ceremony itself. Proxcys offered to let Wireless Value use the Cobot for welding processes whenever necessary. This is a great example of how companies within the innovation cluster directly reinforce one another.
