Project management

When complexity increases, the need for project management does too. With each project, a dedicated team is assembled to combine the necessary expertise’s that are key to a successful project. At Proxcys we are aware that successful implementation depends on continuous planning and checking of individual stages. In the initial stages we always precisely define the course of the project, and then supervise and coordinate it regularly; upon completion it is assessed in terms of quantity and quality.

Project milestones
After agreed User Requirement Specification (URS) and project boundaries, the URS is translated into the Technical Specifications (TS). Drafting of the TS generally takes a few weeks and minor additional requests and changes can be incorporated in the design during this phase, possibly without affecting the overall lead-time and budget. A signed TS allows the project to move to detailed design and to schedule the FAT. In the subsequent phase, Design Release drawings will be shared for approval. In this phase, significant design changes impact the project timeline. Shipment is planned within 2 to 4 weeks after closed FAT, protocols for the acceptance tests are shared in advance. To ensure project progress, timely response to questions as well as providing regular status updates, a dedicated Project Team is assigned, consisting of among others: an Account Manager, Design Engineer and Project Manager.
