It was with great sadness that we learned that our friend and business partner Dr. (Dwun-Hou) Tom Chen passed away last month from a tragic domestic accident. Tom was 65 years old and leaves behind his wife (Emily) and 2 grown children. Tom was an important ambassador and great support for the growth of Proxcys. When Tom joined Prometic BioTherapeutics, Rockville (US) in 2006, our business-relationship started. A passionate scientist with enormous dedication, warmhearted with a great sense of innovation, Tom was the driving force behind the development and scaling up of the groundbreaking PPPS project. It was wonderful to be a part of Tom’s world and we are deeply saddened to miss him.
